The London Junior Chess Championships is one of the country's most prestigious junior chess events. Qualifying events for U8, U10 & U12 age groups run in different venues throughout the autumn. There is no prior qualification necessary for the U14 events and above. Once you have qualified please go to our online entry page.

In addition, LJCC also organises adult events open to all: Northwick Park Congress and the London Christmas Congress, which run alongside the junior events.

The U12 Major finals is also a pre-selection tournament for the EPSCA England U11 Team.

We want to thank all those who have supported us over many years.  We are so proud of our Congress Manager, our Arbiters, and our Trustees who put so much effort into making the tournament great.  Thank you also to the players and parents who are the beating heart of all our events. The London Junior Chess Championship Charitable Trust welcomes any donations.
